The town of Grinzane is a small village that takes part of its name from who was mayor for 17 years, Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour. The symbol of the city is the imposing 13th century castle that dominates the city from the top of a small hill. Inside the castle a museum has been organized dedicated to the life of Camillo Benso and of the typical life in the Langhe in the 60s and 80s and moreover the castle is the seat of the Cavour Regional Enoteca which contains a large number of selected wines and grappas Piedmont.

The Grinzane area is populated by many wine cellars. During your wine tour in Grinzane you can participate in several tastings with a visit to the cellar where you can admire the rooms where the wine is processed and produced. Grinzane Cavour is one of the eleven municipalities that are allowed to produce 100% Nebbiolo vines from Barolo.
During your Wine Tasting Tour Experience you can discover the story of Camillo Benso, the history of the city of Grinzane, the history of wine and taste the best wines produced in the Langhe, at the Regional Enoteca of Grinzane Cavour which offers a vast interior range of selected wines and grappas.
Your Grizane wine tour will begin at the majestic Grinzane Castle. From the courtyard of the castle you can admire the Langhe valleys.
Entering the castle you can admire the museum dedicated to Camillo Benso, count of Cavour, to wine and life of the 60s. At the end of the visit you can enter the Regional Enoteca, inside the castle to taste the proposed wines.
After tasting at the wine shop you can visit one of the largest wine cellars in Grinzane where after visiting their production rooms you can taste different DOC and DOCG wines.

Absolutely yes! Our tastings are designed to inform all participants about wine, you will learn something new regardless of your level of knowledge. During the visits to the winery, the phases of wine production will be explained, in addition to the organoleptic information. During the tasting you will be able to recognize the characteristics of which you have learned during the visit, which must have a Piedmontese wine.

We spent a week in the Langhe and we participated in various experiences including that of Grinzane cavour which I highly recommend everyone to participate.
First we visited the wonderful castle of Grinzane, inside there is a museum that is very well organized, everything is explained with appropriate texts and audio guides, inside there are many rooms and rooms that tell the story of wine and Piedmont. At the end of the path we tasted delicious and fine wines at the Regional wine shop where it is possible to buy wine and typical products of the Langhe.
After visiting the castle we moved to a wonderful wine cellar where they explained a lot about grapes and wine and finally we tasted their wines which were special!
