A full day tour of the Monferrato hills with a stop in the main cities such as Asti and Nizza Monferrato to stroll through the medieval history and the cellars of the territory to taste the renowned Barbera d’Asti. You will get to know the local wine history during your visit to the Enoteca Regionale of Nizza, where the best Piedmont Barbera are kept.

During the Barbera tour, in addition to tasting the perfect Barbera wine you can visit the city of Asti, the “museum of rural civilization“, where ancient handwritten labels are kept. Thanks to this experience in Monferrato you will be able to discover everything about Barbera d’Asti DOCG Superiore Nizza, which can only be produced in 18 municipalities in the region, you will learn to recognize its characteristics, its ruby color and its body on the palate.
We will depart from Alba or Asti to move to the historic center of Asti to visit its baroque, medieval and Romanesque monuments.
Then we will move to Nice, stopping at the Regional Wine Cellar located in the cellars of Palazzo Crova from the 1700s.
The tour will continue with a stop for lunch in a typical Piedmontese restaurant, where the wine will naturally be Barbera d’Asti.
After lunch we will continue the wine tour visiting the Bersano Museum which collects ancient tools of the winemakers
Before returning to Asti or Alba, we will make a stop in the cellar with a walk through the vineyards, visit the wine production rooms and finally a tasting of Barbera wine

Absolutely yes! Our tastings are designed to inform all participants about wine, you will learn something new regardless of your level of knowledge. During the visits to the winery, the phases of wine production will be explained, in addition to the organoleptic information. During the tasting you will be able to recognize the characteristics of which you have learned during the visit, which must have a Piedmontese wine.

I am passionate about wine and especially Barbera wine. My wife gave me this tour and although she is not a wine connoisseur she really enjoyed this experience, I was delighted. Very interesting visits to the cellar and very good Barbera.
