Neive Wine Tour, Tasting Experience Details

Neive is a village of the Langhe, in the province of Cuneo, from the Middle Ages. Although the castle is no longer there, it is easy to recognize the characteristic medieval structure: narrow streets that from the historic center open towards the Clock Tower, near the monastery of Benedictine monks, and typical houses with red roofs. Neive is located 10km from Alba, 27 km from Asti, and has its place in the heart of the Langhe.

This area of Neive is rich in vineyards and is known as the “Land of Four Wines“. Among the hills the landscape is characterized by paths that can be traveled on foot, by bicycle and on horseback. In this UNESCO world heritage area, many of the wineries in the area produce Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba, Moscato d’Asti and Barbaresco every year, hence the name land of the four wines.

We booked this experience expecting a nice day and it was even more beautiful than we expected. The visits in the cellar connect a prepared and nice guide, also available to answer our obvious questions. The exquisite food and the large bench is beautiful! We gave each other the map of the other benches and then went to visit them!
