The undisputed quality of the wines produced, over the years has led Alba to be one of the first cities in Italy for the production of DOC and DOCG wines. Among the different wines produced in Alba, we find many DOCG, Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin, such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Roero and Roero Arneis, Dogliani and DOC wines, such as Barbera d’Alba, Dolcetto d’Alba and Dolcetto di Diano d ‘Alba, Nebbiolo d’Alba, Langhe.

This tour was well worth the money. My friend and I are college students and are very picky about how we spend our money on but we wanted a chance to experience part of Piedmont to enjoy barolo and barbaresco region that we really did not know anything about. Carlo is an AMAZING guide and the trip flowed so well from start to finish. The predetermined meeting location was very easy for us to get to using the car and the instructions on finding the meeting location were extremely helpful as we had absolutely no problems getting to the location. The tours were wonderful and educational, the food was absolutely amazing, and Carlo was one of the most interactive guides I have ever experienced. He was very invested in our learning the culture while also having a great time. He even made sure to take pictures of us so we could enjoy the memories from the day.
I would HIGHLY recommend this tour. It was so effortless and easily the best day we had while on our trip in Italy.
